Ground Truth · a RevIgnite practice

A business runs on people remembering things.

That works until it doesn’t. Ground Truth is the shared operating layer a multi-location business runs on instead.

We don’t cut what you have. We make the next five locations not cost what the last five did.

You have five locations. Each one runs on a different combination of spreadsheets, group texts, and the institutional memory of whoever has been there longest. The GM at location three knows how to handle the recurring issue with the regional account. Nobody else does. When she goes on leave, it surfaces as a call that takes three times as long as it should.

Nobody planned for this. It’s just what happens when a business grows by adding locations instead of by replicating a system. Every new location inherits the headcount requirement and none of the accumulated knowledge. You keep hiring experienced people to carry information that a system could carry instead.

The question is never whether this is a problem. The question is whether you’re going to address it before the next acquisition closes or after.

What Ground Truth does

Three problems it ends.

01

One shared context, not fifty private ones

Most enterprise software purchases right now are per-seat. Fifty licenses means fifty instances that each know nothing about the business, learn nothing from each other, and forget everything between sessions. You pay for scale and get fragmentation.

Ground Truth is the inverse: one system that knows the whole business and gets smarter every time anyone uses it. Work that used to exist only in someone’s head gets captured, connected, and acted on. The next person who needs it finds it instead of reconstructing it.

Work compounds instead of evaporating. That’s the structural difference between this and anything else in the category.

PER-SEAT · WHAT YOU BUY TODAYFifty licences. Fifty contexts. Nothing carries over.GROUND TRUTHOne context. Every use makes it better for everyone.

02

Execution stops depending on who remembered

Right now, whether a follow-up happens depends on whether someone remembered. Whether the new hire knows the account history depends on whether anyone had time to explain it. Every commitment to a customer or a colleague is held in a person.

When the system holds it instead, one person having a bad week stops being a revenue event. Onboarding a new hire to a location stops taking months. The things the business is supposed to do get done because the system tracks them, not because everyone has a good day at the same time.

It also changes what you have to hire for. Today, every new location needs an experienced person to carry knowledge the business doesn’t hold anywhere else. When the system holds it, the next location doesn’t need its own veteran. It needs someone who can use what’s already there.

The system carries the operational load. It does not monitor people.

03

Ground truth on input and output

Most management reporting is self-reported and lagging. The CRM says what someone typed into the CRM. The weekly recap says what someone chose to write down, framed the way they chose to frame it. Leadership makes decisions on a filtered, optimistic, out-of-date picture of the business.

When the system reads from what actually happened rather than what got reported, the gap between reported and actual closes. Call recordings, transaction records, service logs, communication history. The system reads the primary sources.

This isn’t a better dashboard. It’s the first accurate picture of the business some operators have had. That changes what decisions get made and how fast.

The architecture

What’s actually under the hood

Ground Truth is a self-hosted agent operating system. Every layer runs on infrastructure we own and operate directly: the retrieval index, the model inference, the job scheduler, the memory store. There is no vendor dependency at the core of the system. The architecture document covers how each layer works, why the design choices matter, and what rigour looks like in a production deployment.

Local

Runs on hardware we own. No metered cost, and the data never leaves the perimeter.

Cloud

Frontier reasoning, billed per token. Deliberately the smallest part of the system.

Code

Deterministic. No model involved, so it cannot drift and it cannot surprise you.

Only the fourth column is billed. Ingestion and the overnight pass run on local models, which is why the memory layer costs nothing to keep running.

RevIgnite runs on this

Not a pilot. The thing the business actually runs on.

The proof story for Ground Truth is RevIgnite itself. We operate a multi-brand agency on this system: client delivery, outbound, internal operations, research, and reporting. Every client engagement, every outbound sequence, every brief written in this office runs through the same architecture described in the document above.

A prospective client can ask specific questions about what the system does and get specific answers.

The engagement

Three stages, each one earns the next.

Seeing the full path is what makes the first step feel like a reasonable decision rather than a leap.

Stage 01

Operational Diligence

Fixed price · Approximately 4 weeks · Paid

We map how the business actually runs today: where knowledge lives, what breaks between locations, where operating leverage isn’t happening, and what it costs. The deliverable is a written findings document and a scoped build recommendation.

Stage 02

Build

Fixed price · Scoped from diligence findings

Scoped by data sources and workflows, not by seats. The diligence document defines exactly what gets built and why. There are no surprises in this stage because the first stage exists to prevent them.

Stage 03

Run

Ongoing · Per location per month

Keeping a living system fed and honest is the actual work. New data sources come online. Workflows evolve. The system needs to stay current with the business it serves.

Sold as operations, not a license. The architecture document covers what rigour in this stage looks like in practice.

Who this is for

A specific shape of business. Worth being clear.

Saying plainly who isn’t a fit saves everyone’s time, including yours.

A strong fit

  • Multi-location operators where the same work is done differently at every site
  • Businesses whose knowledge lives in people rather than in the company
  • Companies adding locations faster than their systems can absorb them
  • Leadership that has felt the cost of fragmentation firsthand

Most often: home services, dental and veterinary groups, med spas, physical therapy, auto groups, franchise systems, and consolidators of all kinds.

Not a fit

  • Single-location businesses, however well-run
  • Organizations looking for a general-purpose chatbot or productivity tool
  • Organizations that need a specific headcount reduction committed to a date. The system reliably reduces how much expensive, experienced labor a business has to hire to keep growing — but we won’t underwrite a number we don’t control.
  • Businesses where leadership isn’t ready to own the diligence finding, whatever it says
